Just stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and had a great meal. They have $10 specials as well as a reasonable a la carte range. we chose the battered fish meal as opposed to the special fish &amp; chips so we got a freshly prepared meal rather than frozen pieces. The fish was perfect, not to fatty with crispy batter and the chips and salad were just right. The house &#39;savvy&#39; was really good for a house wine - could have easily gone another if we had more time. Friendly staff and atmosphere made it a great lunch

Super cost-effective, more cost-effective than I bought on other platforms before, and I can use it at any time. Meimeida, my mood has become better. Although the weight of each dish is not a lot, but all is full after eating.

What a great discovery that we happened to meet this Chinese restaurant ..... when we were looking for a place to eat dinner in Christchurch. The first fried dumplings are especially delicious and highly recommended. The main dishes we ate were &#39;beef with Chinese mushrooms and black fungus&#39;, &#39;garlic chili shrimp&#39;, &#39;pork mapo tofu&#39;, which were all spicy and we ate with hot rice. The restaurant is full of locals including some Chinese customers, which I think shows the quality of the food here. The dinner was really great. We ordered drinks at the restaurant, but you can bring your own. Parking is a bit difficult, but you can park at the Beiguo shopping center not far away. Highly recommended here.

I ate my own food on the South Island for ten days, and I didn&#39;t eat any rice. I felt that the rice insects in my stomach would be revolutionary! So the night before leaving, my friend took us to eat Korean food. It is said that only this local restaurant can be opened until 10 pm, and other stores are closed very early! (City without nightlife, can&#39;t afford to hurt!) #burn pork ribs pot # ribs are huge and there are a lot of meat! But the cooking is very old, maybe this is a feature. But for children who haven&#39;t eaten meat for ten days, this meat tastes. Very satisfied! There are also various spices to boil the pork rib soup is also delicious! Especially in winter, drinking a big bowl, there is no happier thing!

Busy restaurant with minimum staffing but the waiter was most helpful. We ended up with hubby having a dish off the room service menu and I (post mouth surgery) had the fish but soft vegetables off another dish. All beautifully cooked and the &quot;extra mile&quot; was really appreciated.

Good crown of people &ndash; much more animated when regular quiz started. As a tourist I was embraced and had a good evening. Next week also had quiz and though I didn&rsquo;t take part it was well attended again. Basic food but the bar was about more than that. Would not recommend to the gentile as it is what it is and some of us on tours we egt fed up with &#39;tourist places&#39; and this place was not.

My husband &amp; I have just been to this bar. Never again &amp; I wish we hadn&#39;t even stayed &amp; paid for our drink. Bar full of men, that is ok as is a sports bar but as I walked in was elbowed sharply by one patron at the bar, I felt on purpose. I overheard the young blonde barmaid &amp; 2 patrons laughing and comments about me. Not older or dressed any different from most other woman my age and I make a point of having a pleasant expression on my face. Very humiliating experience. Did not think this was appropriate behaviour from staff.

Dark surroundings, so-so food and no atmosphere made this a disappointing experience that is not worth repeating.
